Image Ghost of Yotei with the new QSSR upscaling on performance mode on ps5 slim/base looks incredible.

The game already looked good on slim/base in performance mode anyway but the QSSR provides a very noticeable upgrade even on base hardware in performance mode. Particularly around foliage and lighting. God rays pop even without quality mode, and foliage looks MUCH better. Far clearer and easier to see individual leaves and blades of grass much clearer. Everything in general looks much better with QSSR on.

She couldn't get her hands on the wolverine ones and she was super bummed out because theres pretty much zero official cosmetics for the pro by playstation, so I got some plates and painted one of her favourite characters on them for her birthday! Was happy with the result so thought I'd share, unfortunately the clear coat reacted a little but overall I'm satisfied for a first try!!

Discussion Control: Resonant is the Prototype remake we deserved but never got

I am deeply enjoying Remedy Entertainments latest outing. As I was throwing myself across the manhatten skyline i felt immediately like I was back in ps3 era PROTOTYPE! the weapon play, movement and fluid gameplay fills me with nostalgia!

Discussion I despise dream/nightmare/psychosis sequences in video games

I feel these sequences are so redundant, every AAA and indie horror game resorts to the same shit every time; having you wandering through a weird, ethereal space that resembles somewhere you've seen before, and then you go through a door and you're somewhere else, and you enter a room with no doors, but then you turn around a door has magically appeared. It's so lazy and trite. You're just holding forward on the analog stick while an art director dumps psychological metaphors on your head.

It's always the same things:

Walk down a hallway, find a locked door, turn around, walk back down the exact same hallway, find a new door.

Islands of concrete floating in a dark abyss, often featuring a shattered version of the protagonist's childhood home or recent trauma.

Whispers saying vague things like "It was your fault" or "You couldn't save them."

Your character being forced into an un-skippable slow shuffle while memories replay in grayscale.

It seems like the laziest possible way to convey trauma or psychosis.

So in Richtung Call of Duty oder Wolfenstein. 😅
Habt ihr Empfehlungen?

Besten Dank vorab! VG

Have anyone seen this error at the end of checkout at PlayStation Direct?

I was trying to pre-order the LISA limited edition controller and got the error. It's limit 1 per household and it's just open to preorder today.
