Hi,
I bought 2 Pokemon games at the thrift store for super cheap, but do not know if they are real.
The battery seems to have run dry for both.
Love to know (and how you can tell).
Thanks!

n the middle of work drove 30 to 40 minutes out on highway to a GameStop to sell a bunch of PS2 games GameCube games and 64 games specifically for it too. I didn’t need anymore to buy this earthbound. I saw online. I’m driving back right now to work. I decided to look at the back of the game and didn’t see a stamp and even the front sticker looks a little funny please tell me this isn’t fake. 🥲
I sold some decent titles for it too
update: returned the game and they gave me the money it costed back. games are obviously gone though

Also I didn’t see a purple hue but I’m second guessing myself cause, I ended up leaving it. If it’s real I’ll go back for it

I figured I would re-purchase the gen 4 games and thought Gamestop would be a safe place to get authentic games. Pretty sure diamond and soulsilver are fakes not sure about Pearl.

Everything looks right to me.
Can you help me confirm its legit?
Update: Thanks everyone. Got my money back. Lesson learned.

Sorry in advance if it’s hard to see anything I’m happy to clarify if needed. Long story short I am looking to try and sell some old Pokémon games to cover some vet bills, but I don’t wanna be one of those people asking for too much if the games aren’t real. I have a few of the newer DS games as well but I know those are real so I’m really just needing to figure out how to tell with these other ones.
One of the Pokémon emeralds I had as a kid and the other I bought after I thought I lost the first one so I know at least one of those is real, but I don’t know which one lol
Feel free to DM with any questions and thanks in advance! I just wanna make sure I don’t lie to anyone when I sell them❤️

This is really strange, a friend of mine got a copy of firered off e bay, but they grew concerned. In my opinion the cart and label look fake, but the GB operator saying its authentic threw me off. Seller claimed and sold it as an authentic copy.

I'm the original owner of this game and remember purchasing it at the mall from Gamestop. It even had the pokewalker! But for some reason can't find any other cases that looks like this one, aside from a post from 5 years ago on a dead forum. Am I missing something?

I been cleaning out my stuff and found my childhood games, I know some are real as I remember buying Pokémon White in the airport but don't remember which one (the left maybe? It look more used), the rest I gotten from friends or my brother. Pretty sure all game boy are fake but just in case asking, (but I think the sapphire one is real. I think my brother bought it from a store, 99% sure that the Pokémon Moon is fake. It didn't work on my friends 3ds, but at the same time it was korean version. Apparently different ds doesn't work?)
Sorry that there is a lot of photos, much thanks to all the reddit/gamer experts!
