FFXIV Black Mage Ley Lines Sweater PATTERN ONLY

Location: Washington State, USA

Budget: aiming for $100, highly flexible

Timeline: Before Halloween would be nice, I want to have time to knit the pattern before the new expansion in January

Hello! I'm a somewhat beginner knitter (but an advanced crocheter), wrapping up my first simple sweater project. I would love to knit a Final Fantasy XIV-inspired sweater, with the Black Mage's Ley Lines design as the yoke. I'm open to adding details/motifs elsewhere if you have an idea that you think would enhance the design!

This would be my first piece of colorwork. I'm willing to pay a fair amount for this pattern commission because I'm not just looking for a yoke chart, I'd like a full beginner-friendly pattern made. My budget is highly flexible because I don't know exactly what this should cost, but I would like to avoid exceeding $200 all-inclusive.

I am not expecting this to be a fully tested, fully original pattern, but rather an adaptation of a pattern that already exists. I'm very aware that I'm paying for convenience here.

Preferred Yarn Weight: 2 (sport) - 3 (DK, light worsted). 1 (sock, fingering) OK if design requires it.

Preferred Needles: Mainly circular needles, no magic/traveling loop, then DPNs when absolutely needed on sleeve cuffs

Size: I'm a 41" chest and I usually try to buy/knit a 50" (~9in positive ease) since I like loose-fitting sweaters. This is roughly a men's/unisex large. I fit boxier men's sweaters best.

Pattern Exclusivity: I am not asking for exclusive rights to this pattern. Feel free to sell it on your preferred platform afterwards!

Looking for a Knitter for Jumper Dupe (UK-based)

Hi,

Location: London, UK, but am open to a knitter anywhere in the UK.

I'm looking to duplicate a jumper I already own. I have the materials (around 450g of Jodi Long Wool/Silk Blend link to yarn).

Size: Adult Men's Small/Medium

I've been told that a machine knit may be the best option for me so I'm open to any machine knitters.

Budget: I aim to keep it under £50-100, as I already have materials.

Timeline: Flexible

Photos: Looks a bit like this, I can't figure out how to attach photos but I can share during correspondence.

Custom Baa-ble Resident Evil Hat

In Progress: Working with a knitter EDIT: I have paid and am working with a knitter. Thank you all for your offers and suggestions.

Hi! I'm looking to commission a hand-knit beanie based on the reference photos I've attached.

Images Link:

https://imgur.com/a/1xEW2Gg

The hat is from a movie (Resident Evil 2026), and I was able to find the company that made/sold it (LoudElephant), but this particular colorway is currently sold out. They told me they're hoping to restock, but aren't able to confirm exactly when they'll receive another batch.

LoudElephant link:

https://us-loudelephant.glopalstore.com/products/hand-knitted-wool-beanie-bobble-hat-sheep-orange-teal?srsltid=AU7gw4Va8o85HjdNH6QSMe8DxSRLaOMeWNMmfgOS0u5ZxyayF9ms3-2l&utm_campaign=pr_r&utm_source=www.loudelephant.com&utm_medium=wi_proxy&utm_content=en_US

I also found that the design is very similar to the Baa-ble Hat by Donna Smith, so fortunately there is an existing pattern that looks like it would provide a good starting point:

Baa-ble Hat Link:

https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/baa-ble-hat

My goal is to have the finished hat match the LoudElephant/movie version as closely as reasonably possible, rather than simply making the standard Baa-ble Hat.

The colors appear to be mustard/ochre, very dark teal, cream/off-white, and black. The reference hat also has a fairly deep folded mustard ribbed cuff and a large mottled cream-and-dark-teal pom-pom, which I'd like to replicate. I'd specifically like the pom-pom colors mixed/mottled throughout rather than separated into distinct sections.

I would prefer wool. I found Rico Design Essentials Soft Merino Aran and thought its 01 Mustard, 46 Dark Teal, 61 Cream, and 90 Black shades looked quite close to the original:

Potential Yarn Link:

https://universalyarn.com/products/383009

However, I have not purchased the yarn because I'd rather get the opinion of the person knitting it first. If you think another wool yarn would work better for the pattern, colorwork, or matching the reference, I'm open to your recommendation.

I also haven't purchased the Baa-ble pattern. I'm happy to cover the cost of the pattern if that's what you would like to work from. I'd rather wait until I've found a knitter so that we can decide on the pattern/yarn together.

Budget: I'm hoping to spend around $300 including labor, yarn/materials, and the pattern, plus shipping, but I'm open to quotes if that isn't realistic for the amount of work involved.

I'm more concerned with getting a well-made and accurate-looking hat than getting the lowest possible price.

Timeline: I'd preferably like to have it by December, although there is some flexibility depending on your availability.

Location: Sacramento, CA, USA and can provide my exact head circumference/measurements before you begin.

I've attached several clean product photos showing the hat from different angles, as well as a screenshot of it being worn in the movie. The movie screenshot is mainly to show how I'd like the proportions to look when worn, particularly the depth of the folded cuff.

Since the sheep/colorwork is one of the most important parts of the hat, I'd especially appreciate seeing examples of previous stranded/Fair Isle/colorwork knitting if you have any.

Please let me know if you're interested, what you would estimate for the cost and turnaround time, and whether you'd recommend the Rico yarn or something else.

Thank you!

EDIT: I will be getting back to people starting tomorrow Sept 25th around 1pm PST EDIT: I have paid and am working with a knitter. Thank you all for your offers and suggestions.

Sweater!

Location: Washington, United States Budget: Flexible, willing to pay the going rate. Timeline: Flexible, no constraints

hello! I am in search of an experienced sweater knitter! Last year I purchased a knit kit from Skappel Oslo while I was there, hoping that I would muster up the courage to attempt knitting but I feel I would rather just pay someone to kit it for me at this point.

The kit comes with everything needed including the pattern and the yarn (wool). So I assume no materials would be needed on your part other than needles. I would love to find someone I could send this to and get it knitted for me.

Baa-Ble beanie Recreation

Hello! I was wondering if anyone would be able to recreate this beanie from the new Resident Evil movie and how much it'd cost? I need it either before 17-19 of October or before Halloween :)

I have bought the pattern and am willing to send it

(It's not shown in the photo, but it does also have a pompom which I think is made from the blue and white yarn.) Thank you!

Location: Omaha, Nebraska

Budget: 35-40 dollars willing to go higher but not something too expensive if okay.

Needed by October 17-19 or before Halloween

I need someone to recreate this beanie ASAP

Location: Maryland, United States

Budget: $150

Timeline: Ideally before the end of September (ASAP is very much preferred)

I need someone to recreate this beanie here:
https://www.alamy.com/stock-photo-high-school-musical-3-senior-year-matt-prokop-2008-walt-disney-cocourtesy-128166584.html

I cant find any other angle but the beanie seems to have a baby blue start and then goes to some wavy pattern with yellow orange and red and then the top goes back to baby blue.

It’s pretty niche I know, but I want to give this as a gift. The recipient is a 5’1 woman whose head measurements I don’t have so feel free to use google to get that measurement lol.

I need this done asap with as much accuracy as possible. Also willing to increase budget to match the asap nature and accuracy is requested.

Location: Tennessee, USA
Size: Men’s Medium, preferably a little oversized
Timeline: I’m hoping to have it completed before Halloween
Labor Budget: Flexible I’m not sure what a fair rate would be for a project like this, so I’m happy to discuss pricing with the commissioner based on the time and skill involved.
Material Budget: Flexible I’m happy to discuss the cost of yarn and other materials with the commissioner.
Materials/Style: Knitted or crocheted; I’m open to either. I’d like the finished sweater to have a slightly oversized fit.
Colors: To be discussed with the commissioner.
Design Details: I have a specific idea in mind and can provide reference images and examples to discuss the design.

I can send over reference images and examples of the style I’m looking for to give you a better idea of what I have in mind. I’m also happy to discuss pricing, materials, sizing, and other details with whoever is interested.

Buffalo Bills Beanie

Location: Southern California, USA
Labor Budget: $175
Materials Budget: will ship supplies or reimburse you (requesting it with specific yarn)
Timeline: hopefully before the first week of October

Hi there! Looking for someone to help me knit a Buffalo Bills beanie based one two different patterns. I wasn’t completely crazy about the one I purchased and wanted to adjust it, so I combined it with another simple beanie pattern made by a friend of mine specifically for Cascade 128 yarn. I’m looking to pay for the beanie and materials, but I’d also like feedback on the pattern since I worked to make the adjustments.

The pattern can be made with either duplicate stitch or with color work. I’m happy with either. I can also ship some Cascade 128 or we can coordinate reimbursement for a similar yarn.

dot/top inquiry!

Location: Central Texas, USA
Budget: $300+ for labor + $150 material cost (maybe?? math is hard and i’m bad at it. willing to discuss/negotiate whatever works best for the piece)
Timeline: if i can find someone in the next month, preferably before November, but i’m pretty lax on that tbh.
Size: adult women’s large-ish? kinda halfway between large and medium, depending on brand
Material: natural + machine washable! (idk if that’s possible tho)

anyways, y’all know the one. the one with the illusion dots where u gotta see it from the side? Link:

https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/dottop

it’s rad asf. I was thinking a Chartreuse/Plum (with standard dots) or Royal Blue/True Yellow (with stars instead!) as the color combo, and some darts cuz i got a pretty large chest. preferably a slightly lower neckline! anyways, i just love the witchery going on, and love a good sweater vest, but i crochet! if i tried to knit, i probably wouldn’t be able to get the tension correct, anyways.

any and all help somehow getting this wondrous thing in my wardrobe would be appreciated!

Project Hail Mary Sweater

Hey everyone - I recently bought the Project Hail Mary Sweater from Mary Maxim. Unfortunately, I apparently cannot read and thought I had ordered a finished version of the sweater. Instead, I have a full knitting kit. I have the artistic talent of a goose, so am looking for someone who can put it together. I'll pay for shipping the materials/time/etc., but don't know anyone who can actually do it. I appreciate all recommendations. Thanks!

Location: Oxford, United Kingdom

Budget: no fixed budget, expecting to pay $650+/£480 fees (happy to pay more of course) + materials

Hello! I'm based in Oxford, England, and I'm looking for any knitters to make some cardigans that are inspired by Cowichan sweaters (but not necessarily a traditional one, just the mentioning the style as a point of ref), but maybe with some animal motifs. I'm really not that particular about the pattern, I'm just looking to expand my knitwear closet with pieces like these

for any US-based people interested, im happy to pay the egregious shipping fees that may come with this, if you are willing to work with me and ship the knits to England :')

i have no budget, but i am expecting to see $650+/£480 fees minimum probably, and Ill pay for all materials. not particular abt timeline but preferably received by march 2027. feel free to shoot me a dm if youre interested in working together!!! im really open to any patterns

thanks so much =)
