Got myself this tattoo based on the game, it still isn't done! There's a lot of details and more trees to be added in a few days, but still I thought y'all would like the concept as much as I did!!

Aside from those two BTs there's three more around my arm, but it's hard to get a good picture because of the angle. I might update and show the rest of them when I have the chance, or maybe when it's finished.

Last year, my best friend and I threw a DS themed halloween party (you might have seen the post). For decoration and for my "cosplay" I made a lot of things, but I'm still most proud of my cryptobiote jar and a backpack. I even made a small version of the glass with the other species for her birthday:)

The backpack is honestly just some cardboard that I glued fabric on and well. It's not necessarily functional or super accurate but I think it turned out cute. I kinda tried to make it look like my in game backpack.

I got an inkling about Sam’s identity before playing this but I was still shook. The flashbacks are such red herrings and well done.

Also the games put too many answers in the last 2 chapters that I felt overwhelmed, but in a good way.

Finally, I’m not a big fan or horror elements so everything in the last 3 chapters got my heart beat so fast.

10/10 experience, will not do it again.

This games been out for roughly over over a year so my memory is a little fuzzy, but did Sam necessarily get a happy ending at the end of Death Stranding 2? It was a hopeful and happy ending for everyone else, but did Sam really get that. Of course he did have Lou back, but did that entire time apart kind of leave a hole in him. Not to mention the state he was after Fragile’s death. When I finished the game I remember thinking everyone got a happy ending, but the more I think about it, did Sam feel that at the end?

What a beautiful ending. This is my first kojima game so some of the quirks and surrealist aspects (especially dialogue) jolted me a bit especially when the plot started really ramping up. But wow, I think episode 14 just made everything come together so well. What seemed like disparate or slightly underdeveloped symbols and themes just perfectly aligned themselves in that final episode.

I'm glad I didn't listen to the critics when it came to this game. I found the gameplay rewarding and I adored how each aspect felt like it served a purpose in furthering the games ideas. The set pieces and visuals were probably my favourite excluding fromsoft games. Even then, I can't wait to sit with the story and it becomes clearer in my mind. I also can't wait to play the second game. I'm sleep deprived rn and this is definitely vague wordvomit but I just wanted to express my overwhelming emotions to this games ending without looking up stuff and getting spoiled.

When you log in to the game affer a break you typically receive a bunch of likes that had been accumulating and unallocated to your account.

If for whatever reason you immediately reload before the game saves, they are gone. They will not be reallocated. Also note when you log in to any save, those likes are allocated to that save only. If you reload your main save, they do not carry through.

Something I have suspected but not tested until now. Keep this in mind if you log in and damage your cargo consider redeploying instead of reloading.

Hi all, I saw Death Stranding Director's Cut is on sale on Steam, and I was thinking of playing it because it looks gorgeous and I've heard good things about the story. However, I can't find any mention of an assist/accessible mode online, like with other games where you can customise options like invincibility in combat. I'm a VERY casual gamer who doesn't love combat, and also disabled with less than great fine motor control (also I'm kind of a wimp), so not having this option is discouraging me from playing.

BUT! I did hear that easy mode is designed to be *very* easy. Can someone confirm that as a casual and disabled player who doesn't like combat, I'll be able to enjoy and roll credits on Death Stranding?

So here I was deciding to finally go to the junk guy after getting 5 stars at nearly all other possible locations (still missing some and need to go back to capital knot area) and I had some grenades just in case I ever needed to go through BT territory, not a lot but enough to get me through the area then restock either at the craftsman or somewhere I can use a fab… tell me why this mf sends me into a ruined city then immediately through MORE BTS without giving me at least one pack of hemetic grenades and the second time he wants me to transport a whole person like c’mon dude. Really soured his intro and not really like him all that much. Gave me a truck finally at least

well for context i finished the first game on my cousin's ps4 before after him lending me his ps4 on me for a 1 and half months, i have like around 80+ hours on it back 5 years ago and since then, i've been fan of kojima's games and started playing other games like metal gear 5 and metal gear revegeance and finished both of the games.

now here's the thing.... i was planning to get death stranding 2 on steam because its autumn sale and i can get it with my hard earned commisions money from doing artworks and plushie, i was about to check the money underneath of my bedsheets and it's all gone.

turns out my dad stole it from me 2nd time and keep saying that its for our "necessities" when the truth is, it is for his gambling addictions.

now that i'm dissapointed, sad or even mad about myself. i wish i could move out but im still a minor :/

I'm always getting fps drops when I use the scanner in Death Stranding Director's Cut, I wanted to know if this is normal or is this just a bug? every time I use the scanner I feel mini-stuttering and it drops from 60 fps to 55 for a moment

Initially I didn't really want to get it because that 1/20 scale seemed so tiny but they have such a cool design so eventually I got it and finally got to build it. Gotta admit it is bigger than I thought but it's mainly thanks to that massive cannon (it's almost bigger than the mech) and when attached to the coffin it makes the mech appear significantly bigger and taller.

Skipped the decals for now because I want to give it a proper paintjob in the future and comparing it to the in-game model and references there are so many details to paint everywhere. Still got the Commander version to build in the future but now it makes me wish they made especially the Red Samurai model kit but I fear that Kotobukiya may be done with DS model kits.

I completed the "Rescue the Adventure from the BT Area" in DS2 by using 21 zip lines to get me back. I feel in retrospect that maybe this wasn't the best way to do it. How did you all do it?

Hi everyone total noob at PC game settings here. I have a RTX 5080 and I am going to play death stranding 1 but I have no idea of the best settings for my gpu. I am playing the directors cut.

I understand that turning on DLSS will help me with frames but do I need it if my 5080 can do without it? What settings will give me the best quality. I am not too worried about frames. I play on a 1440p ultrawide at 180hz. Any help would be appreciated!

Edit: Thanks everyone for your responses, I assumed that DLSS makes the game better but judging from everyone's comment I am going to crank it up to max and forget. I will try the DLAA method also to see if there is a substantial difference also

I just wanted to build my own fucking roads. I did it the whole first game, now for 2 I can't turn it off and other people are building MY roads.

I'm still fairly early in but have already put in time and paused mission progress to mine for materials, and get to the next marker after a considerable amount of time to find they're already done.

I love these games but god damn man, I'm really mad. I'm gonna delete it and restart it in offline mode in a month or something. What a waste.
