How to remove this mark on paper?

Disclaimer: complete noobie.

Can someone describe the steps to remove this zoomed in photo of an accidental mark on paper? What's the closest way to make it appear as if it's unedited? I have a pet peeve when it comes to minor details even on my edits.

The smudge tool is too obvious even when zoomed out. And when I copy a rectangle area on a different part of the paper and paste it over this area, I see the borders of the rectangle and don't know how to blend it naturally to hide it.

Much appreciated.

Agreed about the healing tool. Resynthesizer is a bit redundant here in my opinion; it's mainly suited for removing larger objects. The mark on the OP's image seems like a common flaw, as I remove them every day with the healing tool. The cloning tool clones exactly without considering the context. However, when you overlap the edge, the healing tool might pick up some black areas, but this can be fixed by using the cloning tool near the border and then equalizing with the healing tool.
