Naming conversations for local definitions?

As title mentions. What is the naming convention around local defined stuff? I have seen people use both `my-` and `%`. But I am not sure what to use.

Depends on the context. If you're defining a module (say, in your own channel), I'd use % since you can always use #:prefix when importing if there's any naming overlap. Otherwise, I'd use either. my- has basically of no chance of a name conflict, though.
