Discussion Your favourite fake player name?
Just wondering what everyone's favourite fake player name is?
On the NTSC version of ISS 2000 (Different names on European version) I really like Germany's Bierhoff fake name "Beerbob" purely because it's fun to say... Try it... Beerbob 😂

It's got to be Galfano from ISS Deluxe. If you say Galfano to soccer fans who played video games during this era they immediately know what you're talking about. The pixel ponytail was epic!

I'm not overly familiar with 64, I played more 98 and 2000 but indeed that is a good name 😄

El Hadji Diouf was "Dempo" in one of them and was an absolute beast! Dempo always popped up with a brace as a minimum.

Yeah that would have been in Pro Evolution Soccer I think. Any International Superstar Soccer names you recall?

Oh pardon me! You're right, apologies. I played the hell out of all the ISS games on N64 but it's been so long that I don't recall. Need to crack them out!

The whole Master League side from the Pro Evo games. My mate even got a shirt with "Espimas" on the back. I was always a Ximelez guy though.

Murillo, though necessarily for the name. Whoever worked on the game put extra effort to make sure everyone knew he was Valderrama.
