Does the recoil master workshop map work the same as in game?
Does the spray patterns and weapon accuracy by default(with out having to change any setting on the map) work the same as a normal competitive game?

Because my randoms teammates push without stuff every round, I decided to learn and use these 2 strong flashes.
My reel teammates appreciate it.
Please learn some smoke, flash and molly / nade to support your team.

i understand leetify isn't extremely accurate and improvements shouldn't be made solely off leetify, but it must say something if my util on leetify is 8 when everything else is around a 60-70
i took a look at my demos, and all the time, unless i have lineups, i barely use my utility. even if i do they either don't work or just aren't effective
i've been watching tutorials but everything ive seen never gets applied in my matches, i'm just really bad at applying things i guess

I stopped playing FaceIT after reaching lvl 9 and focused on Premier to improve my mechanics and game sense. I wanted to try for 30K but it's very difficult. I don't think I'm good enough for 30K yet, but could I reach lvl 10 now? This was the rank up game!

Hi , I'm looking for testers for this app that shows compiles and analyze your lost duels inside the web without the need to open CS2 and navigate the demo.
Also before anyone ask if AI was involved in this, yes, I use as a regular tool now. In my defense I'm a software engineer so I know how to program but I use it as a tool to make thing faster (and replace stackoverflow) and here is a link of a game that I made before the AI era LOL https://chekaaa.itch.io/automatask
The tool link is this https://outdueled.me/ , its free to test since I for now I just want to know if it useful for other ppl beside me.

I have been doing decently alright with my aim. But 3 days ago, it feels like I lost most of my aim skills. I am recently having troubles getting the crosshair on my opponents. Here is a short clip of me doing the Rush mode in Refrag, I would say even before this weird problem, I have been quite weak on this mode. Just a short clip I recorded, most of the other minutes this mode was pretty much the same missing.
For any stats required: 1300 hours, just hit FaceIt 6

I really cant seem to get a grasp of gunplay no matter what I do, ive practiced for over 1000 hours unironically and shooting an AK still feels worse than being tortured on a CIA blacksite, it feels as if i have absolutely zero recoil control, it drives me nuts that one second i can predict where my spray will go and then the next im drawing the enemies silhouette like im in a cartoon skit.
I could have my counter strafe at 91% success rate, 5 degree crosshair placement, and still somehow look like im just shaking my mouse around whenever i try to spraydown someone, ive tried practice maps, refrag, aim trainers, community deathmatch, community retakes, recoil master you name it. Got to 20k+ premiere and despite having like 60% winrate it feels like I belong in 5000 or some shit.
Its not like im ragequeueing either, I take breaks often, I play other games and I do well at them, but despite CS getting the most attention from me, its still my worst game by far, and still the only one that actually frustrates me whenever I play it.

Whenever I try to do anything from window, i get awped by the T with best spawn. Cat jump attempt? dead. Jump to under? dead. Challenge mid with awp with a slightly late spawn? dead. How should i approach playing from window if my A players dont flash mid?

I have been noticing that I have been selling my teammates because I do not know that many callout locations. How did you guys learn them??

I have built an open source CS2 training site. Training covers peeking, counterstrafing, practice AI duels with very customizable bot behavior & skill level, and many other drills.
Now you can practice CS2 even while at work!
Features:
The site is completely frontend without any backend. Your configurations/settings are saved in your browser storage.
This project is open source & free.
Upcoming improvments:
Your feedback would be highly appreciated!

Here is a formatted, structured, and easy-to-read version of your thoughts tailored for a Reddit post (ideal for subreddits like r/GlobalOffensive or r/LearnCSGO).
Hey everyone. I wanted to share some thoughts from what I’ve learned and what has helped me slowly progress and get better at CS2.
To give a little background: I've been playing since the inception of the original Half-Life mod almost 25 years ago (took a break during Source, came back in 2020 on CSGO). Professionally, I am a classically trained musician (studied Studio Jazz at the Univ. of Miami), caddied on the PGA Tour in the late 90s/mid-2000s, and spent 10 years working at Cisco Systems as a TAC engineer troubleshooting enterprise Datacenter solutions from the hardware level all the way to drivers and firmware.
I’ve applied what I learned from those fields to CS2. Most guides online are full of noise and lack context for what an individual player is actually dealing with. Top musicians don’t reinvent the wheel—they do common-sense training and break down difficult mechanics at a micro and macro level. Golfers dial in the sequence of the swing. Tech troubleshooters don't just "try everything"; they run diagnostics.
Here is what actually moves the needle in CS2 when you strip away the noise.
Yes, a pro can crush a game on any setup, but to develop a good sense of timing, you need a responsive machine with good feedback.
Most duels aren’t won by big flicks. If your positioning and pre-aim are correct, your crosshair adjustments should be minimal. What actually wins duels is how fast, clean, and efficient your counter-strafe and first-shot accuracy are.
Most players focus heavily on crosshair placement, map knowledge, and utility (the meta). While important, almost nobody trains how clean and accurate their A/D movement is during a chaotic duel.
Solid fundamentals raise both your floor and your ceiling. Once your tech and mechanics align, the game completely changes—you stop fighting your controls and start playing like a CS2 Artist.

I’ve heard the whole 9 yards of low sens with a combination of wrist and arm aim is what you should do. I currently run at 2 sens 800 dpi, I’ve tried to tone it down trying 1.5-0.75 and forcing myself to use more arm for hundreds of hours. But, after 1000+ hours of using sens 2 dpi 800, my tracking gets worse, my recoil control becomes non existent, and I just feel sluggish and unable to react. I was using .75-1.2 sens with 800 dpi for months and I decided to go back to 2 sens and I instantly became 100x better than before.
I don’t really see the correlation of why I should force myself into low sensitivity if it’s only gonna make me worse at the game. Is there a true reason why I should stop and have to basically relearn my entire muscle memory for another 1000 hours to get back to my level or should I ignore the tip and just do what’s comfortable?

🇮🇳 CS:GO 5v5 Community Tournament — ₹10,000 Prize Pool 🏆
Hey everyone! 👋
A few of us are still playing CS:GO (the legacy version 😅) on our servers, and we thought it would be a good time to bring the community together for a small tournament.
We're planning to host a CS:GO tournament next month with a ₹10,000 prize pool, open to players from India and nearby regions.
📅 Date: To be finalized — we're currently running a poll, so make sure to vote for the date that works best for you.
💰 Prize Pool: ₹10,000 🎮 Game: Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) 🌏 Region: India & nearby areas
The main goal is simply to keep the CS:GO community alive, get some old players back into the game, and have some fun competing together again.
To keep things fair, all participants will be verified. Fake accounts, smurf/duplicate registrations, or attempts to disrupt the tournament will result in disqualification.
Whether you're still playing CS:GO regularly or haven't touched it in a while, come join us! Even if you don't currently have CS:GO installed, you're welcome to download it and take part. The more players and teams we get, the better the tournament will be. ❤️

Thanks everyone,

Been working on SmokePractice for the past few months and recently added a demo analyzer.
You can upload a demo, see which utility you could work on, and then practice those lineups directly in 3D.
The app is only a few months old, so any feedback is really appreciated!

when i first started playing a month ago my sens was 5, and after getting a larger mousepad it is now 2.32 at 800 dpi
i noticed when i hold corners or when i aim at enemies i often "freak out" and my crosshair goes a bit side to side, effectively tracing the enemy. i googled the average edpi and it was around 800, and calculating mine right now its around 1800
i tried lowering my sens to 1.04 and it feels absurdly slow, like i have to swipe and recenter twice just to turn 180

It is genuinely hell to see 4 of your teammates has Chinese/Japanese/Taiwanese (basically not english) name and not speaking a lick of english with insufferable mic
I keep seeing 2/5 player on my team has 96 hour and 88 hours, basically less then 100 hours
Somehow have 4k elo but play like a bot, crosshair placement are horrible (am talking about looking at the ground 70% of the time)
It's either they have less then 7 kills at the end of the game or maybe 10 kills at the end of a game that is sometimes 12-13
It's either i got +20 kills and we lose
Or i get ±15 kills and we win
The most tilted part is when i see enemy team has 6k elo or 7k elo (so 2k above me) and i have a 2.8k which just happened yesterday with a final score of 9-13
My height is 5.4k and in 3 days i went from 5.4 down to 3.8 and climb back up to 5.4 today
The most frustrating part is when you went to 4999 then i win then i lost and now am at 5000 then i lost
And somehow losing streak and seeing unreadable name next game
Somehow game 1 to game 3 is so smooth at the beginning but suddenly game 4 to game 12 is hell
Am talking about losing every single round to
A. Teammate doesn't hold site and just full rush so now retake is impossible
B. Didn't use a single utilt and die
C. While as T but plays like a ct and just split 2 B 1 mid 2A and full on rushing without utilts
