Emulator Autorun is awesome, I would not say DP game is playable but way better than I expected on v1 handheld max Oc switch.
Also dead space 1 runs flawless, and you can also add ur native language sub or if exist dub to your games.

Homebrew Game MKWii Native on Switch (beta release, needs overclock)
I made a beta release of Mario Kart Wii for the Switch. I was hoping if anyone here could test it out and look for crashes or issues, the lag is an issue I'm fixing, obviously. Anyway, here's a video showcasing it. (No audio because my phone's camera for some reason made it sound bad.)
(You need your own legally obtained Mario Kart Wii PAL ISO.
Anyway, here's the GitHub https://github.com/dorPXP/driftdroid/releases#release-switch-beta1

Emulator [Release] Kirikiroid2-NX v0.1.2 – Kirikiroid2 (the Android KiriKiri visual novel player) ported to the Switch
Hi r/SwitchHacks! I've been porting **Kirikiroid2**, the well-known Android/iOS player for KiriKiri visual novels, to the Switch. To my knowledge it's the first port of the Kirikiroid2 app itself to the Switch, and it's now in a usable alpha state.
What it does
- You copy a KiriKiri visual novel you own to the SD card, **the same folder you'd use with Kirikiroid2 on Android** (`data.xp3`, `xp3filter.tjs`, `patch.tjs`, fan-translation patches...), and open it from the original Kirikiroid2 file browser.
- It's based on zeas2's original **Kirikiroid2 1.3.9** source, not a new engine, so compatibility fixes, `xp3filter.tjs` support and the UI behave like on Android.
- Video (FFmpeg), voice/BGM, transitions (incl. extrans), layer effects (layerExImage), GDI+ text (layerExDraw), fstat and AlphaMovie plugins, bundled game fonts, Japanese/Chinese/Vietnamese text.
- Touchscreen + Joy-Con / Pro Controller: A advance, B cancel, D-pad select, left stick = mouse cursor, − = Kirikiroid2 menu.
Download / source: https://github.com/Erige005/Kirikiroid2-NX/releases
Copy `Kirikiroid2-NX.nro` to `sdmc:/switch/` and launch it in title-takeover mode (hold R while starting a game). Applet mode doesn't have enough RAM.
Status (alpha, be gentle):
- Tested with several commercial and fan-translated KAG/KAGEX games, which play start to finish with saves.
- Not ported yet: KAGParserEx, E-mote/motion player and a few other Windows plugins. Games that need them will show an error.
- Exiting a game can show an error screen.
- Software renderer only, so heavy effects can be slow.
If a game works on Kirikiroid2 for Android but not here, please open an issue and attach the logs from `sdmc:/switch/kirikiroid2/` (`k2s_log.txt`, `k2s_log.prev.txt`, `k2s_crash.txt`). Compatibility reports, both working and broken, help a lot.
Credits: zeas2 (Kirikiroid2), W.Dee and the KiriKiri contributors, wtnbgo (layerExImage/layerExDraw/fstat), the krkr2 project (POSIX/Blend2D plugin ports), and devkitPro/libnx. Full list on GitHub.

Tool [Beta / Open source] Switch CFW web configurator: flexible & automated bash setup & stateless URI config sharing
I have developed a modern, stateless web configurator for building clean Nintendo Switch CFW and Homebrew packages.
Why another configurator? I wanted something flexible, stateless, fully transparent, and easy to share.
Features:
- Automated bash script generation: generates a transparent, human-readable bash script to fetch and unpack chosen components directly on your SD card.
- Clean Homebrew stack: modular selection for base, system modules (sys-clk, SaltyNX, etc), overlays (Tesla/Ultrahand, Status Monitor, FPSLocker, etc), Homebrew (App Store, DBI, AIO, JKSV, EdiZon, Breeze, Linkalho, etc), theming (NXThemes, Themeezer), streaming (Moonlight, Akira), and emulators (RetroArch, PPSSPP, melonDS).
- URL parameter state management: all configuration choices are stored directly inside the address bar (URI). You can share custom build setups via a single URL without needing an account or server database.
- Atmosphere 1.12.0 & HOS 23.0.0 ready: updated with support for the newest firmware and Atmosphere builds.
Usage Instructions:
- Visit https://brewdeck-theta.vercel.app on your PC (best viewed on desktop screens for now, mobile responsive layout is coming soon).
- Select the revision of your Switch, HOS version.
- Select desired software.
- Configure the launch, CFW, security, selected plugins, overclock, and appearance.
- Download the generated setup script and place it on your SD card root.
- Execute the script to apply your custom build.
Note: backup your SD card before modifying system files! Keep your Nintendo and emuMMC directories intact!
Known temp issue: MissionControl, ldn_mitm, and uLaunch are currently finicky on HOS 23.0.0 / AMS 1.12.0, as I discovered through trial and error. We will need to wait for upstream updates from their respective maintainers for full compatibility.
This is not low-effort AI slop - it's a properly architected web app. Over the past year, I spent a ton of time digging into Hekate and Atmosphere internals, reading their documentation, and studying custom firmware config structures. I used AI strictly as an execution tool, directing the agent on exactly where every file, sysmodule, and payload needs to go.

Linux 6.x booting on a Nintendo Switch Lite. This is not the L4T 4.9 kernel.
A little teaser from something I've been working on.
This is a Mariko / T210B01 Switch Lite going through Linux init on a kernel port that is not based on the usual 4.9.140 L4T kernel.
It doesn't fully boot yet. A bunch of hardware is still missing and the logs are currently more interesting than the userspace.
But the kernel runs far enough to reach /init, mount the basic pseudo-filesystems and start probing Mariko hardware.
The interesting part isn't Linux running on a Switch Lite — Switchroot already does that very well.
The interesting part is how this kernel got here.
More soon. :)

I got Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit running without a Switch: drive the kart from a Steam Deck or other linux system (open source)
I wanted to drive my Mario Kart Live kart without the Switch, so I built mk-live: it turns a Steam Deck, Raspberry Pi or Linux PC into the kart's base station.
How it works
• A USB Wi-Fi stick (tested: Atheros AR9271) runs the kart's access point via the OpenKart SDK
• The kart's camera stream is reassembled and re-encoded for the browser ~60 ms glass-to-glass latency with WebCodecs
• The cockpit runs in the browser: gamepad (Steam Deck controls in game mode), keyboard or touch, QR-code pairing, battery/signal status, compass and G-meter from the kart's IMU
• On the Steam Deck it installs as a container, so SteamOS updates don't break it, and shows up as a non-Steam game
Install is one script: https://github.com/xmrius/mk-live
Big thanks to the OpenKart SDK (Sam Edwards), the SwitchBrew wiki for documenting the protocol, and Malu05's ESP32 video for the instrument idea.
Known limits: no speed readout (the kart doesn't send one), and low latency only via localhost/HTTPS. Happy to answer questions!

Homebrew Game [Homebrew] The Simpsons: Hit & Run Switch port, now working on firmware 21.0.0+
Hey all. The Simpsons: Hit & Run Switch port by ZenoArrows stopped working on newer firmwares, so I made a fork that adds compatibility with firmware 21.0.0 and later. I've tested it on a Switch running 22.5.0.
Download: v0.6.2 release
Source: newer-firmware-fix branch
Setup:
- You need the game files from your own copy of the PC version. Don't use the assets from the source leak, because they aren't the final version. Use the original
.rmvmovies, not the old converted.bk2files. - Copy the game files to
sdmc:/switch/simpsons. - Put the
.nrofrom the release in that same folder and launch it from the Homebrew Menu.
Honestly, I made this for myself, but I'm posting it in case anyone else wants it. And yes, it's vibe coded, but I've been playing it without any issues. Full credit goes to ZenoArrows for the original port. My changes only fix compatibility with newer firmware, and the port itself is still a work in progress.
Please report bugs on the GitHub issues page.

[Release] NXSync - Automatic cloud backups and save sync across Nintendo Switch consoles
NXSync is an experimental Nintendo Switch homebrew app + sysmodule that automatically backs up your saves to the cloud and, when needed, asks for your confirmation before restoring them on the same console or another one.
When a game closes, NXSync’s sysmodule detects the event through PGL and automatically triggers a backup and cloud upload of any changed save data. With game launch preflight enabled, the next time you launch the game on the same console or another console configured with NXSync, a patched version of Atmosphère’s dmnt temporarily holds startup while NXSync checks cloud saves. If everything is already in sync, the game starts normally; if a cloud update or conflicting save versions require your attention, NXSync asks you which save to use.
The NXSync homebrew app lets you manually back up your saves, browse and restore local or cloud backups, and configure your cloud connection and synchronization settings.
NXSync links each save revision to its predecessors, so if progress diverges across consoles, it detects the separate branches and lets you choose which version to continue with, rather than simply assuming the most recent save is the right one.
Read the README carefully before installing NXSync. The installer includes a modified version of Atmosphère’s dmnt, which is installed as a content override in the atmosphere folder. Back up the atmosphere and config folders on your microSD card before proceeding. NXSync currently supports Atmosphère 1.8.0 and 1.11.2, with the installer automatically selecting the matching dmnt build. Cloud synchronization is currently limited to Nextcloud, with support for additional WebDAV providers planned for the future.
I am not liable for any damage arising from the use of NXSync, including console bricks, loss or corruption of save data, or console bans.
You can find the source code, installation instructions, and downloads on GitHub.
Thanks to everyone who wants to contribute, report issues, or simply give NXSync a try. Your feedback and support are greatly appreciated!

Tool [Release] HomeTile – Create Home Menu(NRO) forwarders directly on your Switch
I got tired of going back to my PC every time I wanted to make a forwarder for an NRO, so I made HomeTile.
It basically lets you do the whole thing directly on the Switch. HomeTile scans the homebrew apps already on your SD card, you pick the one you want, and it creates a HOME Menu entry for it using the app's own name and icon.
It can also replace or remove forwarders it created, keeps the original NRO untouched, and does some basic Title ID collision checks so it doesn't overwrite something unrelated.
It's all native C++/libnx and doesn't need a separate PC tool.

https://github.com/Amir-Ehsani/HomeTile-switch
If you try it and something breaks, definitely let me know.
And if it ends up being useful to you, a star on GitHub would be appreciated :)

[Release] Zelda: The Minish Cap running natively on Switch — 16:9 widescreen, DS-style dual screen with touch panel, Flip Grip portrait mode, RetroAchievements (no ROM included)
Native port (not an emulator) of the Minish Cap decompilation, built for the Switch. You need your own dump of the USA cartridge; nothing copyrighted is included.
What it adds over the GBA original:
• 16:9 widescreen (284×160) — the camera actually shows more of the room, at 60 fps on stock clocks
• Dual-screen layout like the DS Zeldas: map, dungeon floors, quest guide and an items screen on a second panel
• Touch: drag an item onto A / B / X / Y / ZL / ZR to equip it, tap the map, etc.
• Flip Grip / portrait mode for playing vertically
• RetroAchievements
• Quality of life: 360° stick movement, spin attack by rotating the stick + B, one-button roll attack, Pegasus dash that turns with the stick, optional Hero Mode — every one of them toggleable
• Scanline / LCD-grid filters (GPU, zero cost), in-app updater

Credits: zeldaret decomp, Project Picori (999sian), HayatoG and EstebanPdN's ports it builds on. Bug reports welcome — the game writes crash logs to /switch/tmc/crashlogs/ that make them easy to fix.

Tool [Devlog] TimeStranger-NX: Cracking Direct NAND Injection for Digimon Story: Time Stranger (First Native Save Editor in Dev!)
Hey everyone! 👋
I'm cbreezy210, the developer behind PKHeX-NX and ACNH-Save-Editor. I wanted to share an exciting update on my latest passion project currently in active development: TimeStranger-NX, the first native homebrew save editor being built specifically for Digimon Story: Time Stranger.
This isn't just another port of an existing tool. Over the last few days, we've achieved a massive technical breakthrough: Direct NAND Injection. Unlike methods that require dumping saves to an SD card via JKSV/Checkpoint, editing them on a PC, and restoring them, this tool mounts the game's save partition directly from the console and commits changes straight to the system NAND. No bridge required. No PC needed.
🔬 The Technical Breakthrough (Why this was hard):
Getting direct NAND access working reliably for Time Stranger was a journey. Many games use standard filesystem APIs, but this title presented unique challenges:
Hidden Partitions: The active save slot wasn't in the obvious location. It took extensive recursive scanning to find the real data inside `/savedata/0001.bin`.
Silent Rollbacks: Early writes appeared successful but would vanish after rebooting the game. After deep-diving into `libnx`, we discovered the critical missing piece: `fsFsCommit()`. Without explicitly committing the filesystem journal, the OS silently discards changes upon closing the file handle. This is a rare quirk not seen in other major titles like Pokémon or Animal Crossing.
Offset Discovery: We built custom hex-scanners to diff save dumps byte-by-byte, allowing us to pinpoint the exact memory address for values like Yen (`0x7973`) without relying on external documentation.
✨ Current State (v1.1.0 - Active Development):
We are still building out features before the official v1.0.0 release, but the core engine is proven:
💰 Yen Editor:* Modify your in-game currency directly.
⚡ Direct NAND Access:* True on-console editing.
🛡️ "Zero Lost Saves" Safety Pipeline:* Automatic, timestamped backups are created on your SD card before every single write. Includes a one-tap `[ZL] Emergency Rollback` feature to instantly restore your last known-good state.
🖥️ Native C++ UI:* Clean, console-optimized interface built with `libnx`.
🗺️ What's Next?
Before we ship v1.0.0, we're focusing on:
* Advanced item and monster stat editing.
* Full save slot management.
* Potentially a graphical SDL2 interface similar to our other tools.
🔗 Links & Resources:
* GitHub Repo (Source Code & Updates): https://github.com/cbreezy210/TimeStranger-NX (Note: Still in dev, no public .nro releases yet!)
* My Other Projects:
* PKHeX-NX: https://github.com/cbreezy210/PKHeX-NX
* ACNH-Save-Editor: https://github.com/cbreezy210/ACNH-Save-Editor
⚠️ Disclaimer: This is an educational project in active development. Always keep backups of your save files. Modifying save data carries inherent risks. Use at your own risk. Not affiliated with Nintendo, Bandai Namco, or Media.Vision.
Would love to hear feedback from the community, especially fellow devs who might have insights on navigating these kinds of filesystem quirks! Let me know what features you'd prioritize next. 🚀

Tool 1,000+ downloads across my two native Switch save editors (ACNH + Pokémon SV) — thank you!
Hey everyone,
Quick milestone moment to celebrate this weekend: between the ACNH Save Editor and PKHeX-NX, total downloads across GitHub and GameBanana passed 1,000 earlier this week — and the ACNH editor alone is now knocking on 1,000 of its own.
What I'm actually proudest of isn't the number itself, though. These tools touch your most precious data (your islands, your shiny hunts, your teams). Across 1,000+ installs, there have been zero lost saves: every scare - including user-side mishaps - ended in a full restore, because the byte-verified backup + dual-file commit philosophy is holding up in the real world.
Thank you to everyone who tested, reported bugs, left feedback on Reddit/GBATemp, or just gave the tools a try. This community is the reason the docs are honest and the safety net exists.
Still ahead:
- ACNH Save Editor - v1.4.0 stable; v1.5 Room Decorations injector in development; v1.6 feature poll OPEN in GitHub Discussions (come vote on what gets built next)
- PKHeX-NX - v0.9.5 live with the QoL sprint; community Discord coming soon; v1.0 content expansion in the works

PKHeX-NX: https://github.com/cbreezy210/PKHeX-NX

Happy editing, and keep your backups safe!

Tool NSLibrary: a self-hosted library for your own Switch dumps, with a homebrew app that installs over LAN or USB
github.comHi all. I've been building this on my own for a while and it's now open source under Apache-2.0.
NSLibrary is a self-hosted server for the NSP, NSZ, XCI, XCZ and homebrew NRO files you've dumped from your own console. It comes with a Switch homebrew app that lets you browse that library on the console and install from it over LAN or USB.
GitHub: https://github.com/tuckerwales/nslibrary
Switch app (.nro): https://github.com/tuckerwales/nslibrary/releases/tag/v0.2.0
Point the server at your dump folders. It mounts them read-only and never writes into them.
It groups each title's base game, updates and DLC, and flags missing updates, duplicates and broken files.
Pair your Switch with a 6-digit code, browse the library on the console, and install straight to SD or NAND. Installs stream directly, with no temporary copy on the SD card first.
You can also click Send to Switch in the web UI and the console will pick the job up.
It has no download sources, no shop scraping, no title keys and no firmware. It only manages files you already have. Requests to add any of that will be closed on GitHub, so please don't ask in the comments either.
This is the first public release. The Switch app went through several private 0.1.x versions first, but expect rough edges on the server and desktop side.
Thanks for taking a look!

Nx!Stream is an osu!stream homebrew port for switch
A while ago i ported mono to run C# on switch, but for all of this time i wanted to get a real game ported to test its limits.
So here's Nx!stream which is an unofficial port of the open source osu!stream release. The osu! branding has been removed from the title screen and binary name because this is an independent effort and not associated with the original authors, but the code is 99% the same and released under the same MIT license.
There are some rough edges but it's definitely playable, check it out at: https://github.com/exelix11/nx-stream
I've also written another blog post about the process of porting mono and C# games to switch, if you're interested in the technical details or want to try porting a C# game on your own check it out: https://github.com/exelix11/mono-nx/blob/master/notes/writeup-part2.md

[HOMEBREW] Made a background music player + lyrics overlay for Switch homebrew (StreamSnagNX)
I just wanted this for myself.
I wanted to be able to play some music while playing games on my Switch, with lyrics floating on the screen. I couldn't find exactly what I wanted, so I figured:
Fuck it, I'll make it.
So I made StreamSnagNX.
It lets you:
- Search YouTube Music directly from your Switch
- Download songs for offline playback
- Download synced lyrics
- Keep music playing while you're playing other games
- Display floating lyrics over your game
- Control everything through an overlay or
snag-ctl - Manage your downloaded tracks and playlists
It doesn't require an account or API key.
And yeah, it's AI-assisted. I'm not going to pretend otherwise. AI helped me with parts of the development, but I still had to put everything together, debug it, test it on actual hardware, chase down stupid bugs, and make the damn thing work.
I originally made it because I wanted it myself, but once it became usable I figured why not share it in case someone else wants it too?
It's still a work in progress and there are definitely some rough edges, but it's usable enough that I've been happily using it myself.
GitHub: https://github.com/Wheezee/StreamSnagNX
If anyone wants to try it out, feedback and bug reports are welcome.
(And yes, you can absolutely play Bury the Light while hunting in Monster Hunter.)
