Discussion Has anyone else experienced suspicious desyncs lately?
I’m wondering if there might be a new exploit or some kind of bug that allows players to intentionally cause a desync so that they don’t get a loss.
Thankfully, I’ve only experienced this on Battle.net so far and not on W3Champions.
Player “MAVERICK” desynced 5 games in a row against me, and player “ACUPOFTEA” desynced when the game was clearly lost for him. He even wrote in chat beforehand that he wouldn’t get a loss and then started flaming me lol.
Obviously, I can’t prove that this was intentional, but the whole thing seemed pretty suspicious. I just wanted to raise some awareness and see if other people have noticed something similar recently.
Has anyone else experienced this?

I haven't experienced this myself but I heard this is a big problem for StarCraft 2 and Broodwar right now. Maybe the same exploit is being used in WC3 as well?

I don't know about those two guys, but ever since I got a new computer, earlier this year, the game kept crashing like every 10 minutes.
I don't know if it was desync, but the matches/losses weren't recorded in my profile. In a bad day, it happenned almost every game.
I got around this by switching to energy saving mode when I play WC3. It doesnt crash anymore.
But I think I could exploit this by changing back to normal midgame if I'm losing, maybe that's what the second guy did.
It's weird because it only happens with WC3 and Slay The Spire 2. Two games that don't really need a state of the art pc to be played.

im sure now that the desyns are caused intentionally somehow after facing 10 new desyncs against maverick. hopefully these hackerguys wont find their way to w3c. blizzard should be aware of this
