Laptops keyboard not working after update. Used timeshift to old snapshots, it works, but I run apt update/upgrade and it stops working.
I’m going crazy!
An external keyboard works, but not the one built into the laptop. It’s so weird that when I run update and upgrade is when it breaks. But if I don’t updTe on an old snapshot it still works. It’s driving me crazy!

Out of curiosity, what model laptop are you using?

Update: booting with older kernel works. I’ll just be doing this for now until I find the real issue I guess
Unfortunately I still need a keyboard plugged in on boot to select the older kernel works
Edit: changed grub default so I don’t need the external keyboard
