Feels bad for the players tbh. Imagine working so hard to get a place in this tournament, and this happens. I'm not a pro player, but there is a difference between a wired and a wireless mouse if your sens is low. All that muscle memory will affect performance.

Hey everyone,

I'm building El Royale FC (ERFC), an independent football gaming project built around Discord communities.

ERFC currently has:

• 700+ players
• 8,000+ matches played this season
• 13,000+ matches played overall
• Communities using ERFC across 39 Discord servers
• Head-to-head matches, team progression, cards collection, packs opening, signing tacticians, seasons and league tables

I'm currently looking for a small number of Community Outreach Contributors to help introduce ERFC to relevant gaming, football and Discord communities.

What you'd do

• Find relevant gaming/football/Discord communities using specific targeting criteria
• Research communities and identify appropriate contact/partnership channels
• Reach out professionally using provided scripts and guidance
• Explain how ERFC could add football-related activity to their community
• Track outreach and responses
• Explore potential community collaborations

This is not a player recruitment role, and you're not expected to sell anything or spam communities. The focus is on finding genuinely relevant communities and approaching them respectfully while following their rules.

Experience

No professional experience is required.

Previous experience with Discord communities, outreach, partnerships, marketing, social media or esports is a plus, but I'm also interested in people who want to learn.

You'll receive:

• A complete outreach playbook
• Targeting criteria and keywords
• Ready-to-use outreach scripts
• Objection-handling guidance
• A step-by-step community discovery workflow
• Direct guidance while getting started

Commitment

This is an unpaid volunteer contributor role with a flexible schedule.

There's no fixed working schedule. Around 15 relevant communities per day is the suggested target, but quality and relevance matter more than blindly hitting a number.

What contributors can receive

Strong contributors may receive:

• An official ERFC Certificate of Contribution
• Recognition/feature on the ERFC website
• Verifiable project experience for a portfolio or CV
• Practical experience in gaming community outreach and growth

The certificate recognizes verified contribution to an independent project and is not an academic or professional accreditation.

ERFC is an independent fan-made football game and is not affiliated with or officially licensed by any professional football club, league or player.

If you're interested, send me a DM with:

1. Your Discord/community experience
2. Any outreach, marketing, esports or community experience
3. Why you'd like to contribute
4. Why you think you'd be a good fit

Hey everyone! I’m Eric, the founder of SquadUp Esports. I’m looking to connect with 1–2 people interested in joining me as co-owners and taking an active role in growing the organization.

SquadUp is already operating with a CS2 team, and I’ve been handling much of the work behind the scenes. I’d love to bring in people who share the passion and want to help shape where we go next.

Some areas where I’d love to have help:

• Managing teams and day-to-day operations
• Creating content and growing our community
• Building sponsorships and business relationships
• Planning our growth and helping fund it

You don’t need to be an expert in everything. What matters most to me is consistency, communication, and a willingness to put in the work. Experience in esports, content, marketing, or running a business would definitely be a plus.

I want to be upfront: this is an early-stage organization, and there’s no promise of a salary or quick returns. The ownership structure, responsibilities, financial contributions, and expectations would all need to be discussed and agreed upon together.

If you’re interested, send me a message with a little about yourself, your experience, and what you’d want to contribute. Happy to share more about SquadUp and see whether we’d be a good fit.

You can also check us out on X: u/SquadUpEsp.

Looking for 2–3 People to Help Organize CS2 Community Tournaments

Hey everyone!

I'm starting a small community esports project called Crimson Knights Esports, and we're planning to run online CS2 tournaments and others soon.

We're looking for 1–2 people who are interested in CS2 and other games and would like to help out as tournament staff/moderators.

You don't need professional esports experience. We're mainly looking for reliable people who are active on Discord and genuinely interested in gaming.

Possible responsibilities:

• Helping manage Discord

• Checking players in

• Managing teams and match schedules

• Updating brackets/results

• Moderating matches

• Handling player questions and disputes

• Helping investigate reports of cheating/account issues

We're planning to run multiple tournaments over time rather than just one event, so we're looking for people who are genuinely interested in helping build something long-term.

If you're interested, DM me with:

• Your Discord username

• Your CS2 experience

• Any previous tournament/moderation experience (if you have any)

• Which role you're interested in

• Your general availability

We're currently a small team, so this is an opportunity to get involved early and help shape how the tournaments are run.

[Also the website is in demo state, staffs after approval will get a link to it and get an basic tour around it and discord is under creation maybe even some help is appreciated]

Also people should specify when they are free, we require a week and weekend free people so include that, then we can schedule time and confirm the role.

Any questions and doubt reach via dm.

Thanks!

Falcons roster on apex includes Hal, their roster on rocket league include rw9 and killeerz, and their fortnite roster has peterbot. Is it a coincidence that they scout the single agreed upon ‘greatest’ player in each game? This is just my observation

• Team Registration System

• Admin Dashboard

• Live Leaderboards

• player ranking system

• Match Result Management

• Room ID & Password Distribution

I play splatoon for WHS esports and donations would really help for our fees, equipment, and amazing coach

Complexity became a symbol of North American Counter-Strike. Its shutdown shows the risk of relying too heavily on one game and region.

Issue #019 of CTRL+WATCH — a one-person retro magazine that reviews YouTube — is THE COMPETITION ISSUE. The spine is an autopsy of the esports winter: OWL's ~$120M wind-down, the LCS contraction, TSM selling its slot for $10M after EG paid $33M to get in, FaZe riding a SPAC from $725M to ~$15M — set against who actually ate the lunch: La Velada's 9M+ concurrent record, Kings League, Sidemen at Wembley (£4.7M). The counterexample that never had a winter: GDQ, $2.4M an event, because it never financialised. Elsewhere in the issue: GothamChess vs agadmator in the Boss Fight (83–80), Summoning Salt re-enters the Top 50 at #23 with an 88, and Dude Perfect takes the issue's negative review — 58, "competition with the losing removed."
