Garlic honey pH

My garlic honey is showing a pH of 7. Is it trash?

Raw honey shouldn’t be at 7. Check your tester.

Are you sure its accurate? Honey has a ph of around 4 and garlic has a ph around 5-6. Either no fermentation has taken place or the reading isn't accurate.

I tested the fire cider and I tested another liquid and they all came back at 4 or lower. This honey has been sitting since the start of August. It has been burped daily and really put off a lot of gas and bubbles.

The garlic looks colored correct and most likely fine. I would advise to out in 5 times the amount of garlic next time.

I have nothing to add except that mine did the same thing. It's at 5.8. I checked the remaining unused honey in the jar and it's just over 4. Mine is pretty full of garlic too.
