They do the same thing but one is much more bioavailable. Gabapentin has terrible bioavailability

Yes, they do the same thing basically but pregabalin is much stronger. Lowkey never felt much from gabapentin but pregab always hits

I could never get “high” from gabapentin but Pregabalin blew my mind a few weeks ago. I honestly wasn’t expecting to feel anything at first

Lucky you, I only feel drunk and out of it at 150mg so I'll never try to have fun by taking more, unless that's the "secret" to feeling good on this stuff.

Does anyone know, if you’re trying to taper off gabapentinoids does it make more sense to switch from pregabalin to gabapentin? I’ve been playing with them both for many years, but thinking I need to stop for various reasons and am trying to do a slow taper.

Obviously, if you take any pregabalin dose, doesn't matter how much, it will always make the gabapentin seem weaker

It wasnt obvious to me, they're both different substances, didn't know how closely related they were to eachother but knew they worked in the same way, thank you though!
