Does it have any high?

Not much experience with barbiturates. Fiorcet even at pushed doses caused nothing but an uncomfortable tiredness. Does the phenyl ring increase potency of Phenobarbital or cross the BBB better etc etc etc?
I have experience with BZDs. What I’m looking for is an experience somewhat comparable to a BZD (unless a Phenobarbital “high”) is awesome in itself. Thank you.
EDIT: Generic Donnatal.

Hi. I used Clonazepamum last 2 nights to regulate my sleep schedule, but what I witnessed was something that I will remember.
My back was really stressed and achy, as if someone were sticking needles in it. I was waking up at night in sweat. But after 2mg of Clon my nights were wonderful, of course, the sleep was satisfying, but the after-glow from waking up, the energy to work, even less sleep while I was after training and nearly no this strange back pain.
Of course now I know I need to be going to my chiropractor/masseur more, but also I had a stressful weeks so thats one of it.
The punch line and main question is: - Do you know any medicine or supplement that works on GABA-A(mainly α3) for muscle relaxation? Without any rebound please.
I was reading something about Tizanidine and Eszopiclone, but no idea about real effects like Clonazepamum. Anybody has some experience?
Now running (for sleep): Ashwagandha(600-1200mg), Magnesium bisglycinate (500-1500mg of Magnesium)
Gonna add: L-Theanine, Valeriana, maybe Melissa

I know a lot probably hasn’t heard of it, shit I literally just heard of it earlier this year I think. I do random drug research if I’m bored and typed in Xyrem(GHB) extended release and it actually exists but I highly highly doubt anyone can get it unless you have severe narcolepsy. Isn’t it interesting that fucking GHB is one of the biggest medicines for narcolepsy. That’s honestly fascinating to me. I know I’ll never find Lumryz that’s not why I’m asking, I’m just genuinely curious on wtf a Lumryz high feels like.

Looking for real-world experiences with meds that hit the GABA system (benzos, gabapentin, pregabalin, etc.) — what actually helped, what didn’t, and side effects. Severe DPDR here, not just mild episodes.

I’ve been hearing more and more people talk about something called Microgalin and some are hyping it up like it’s the next magic pill. I honestly can’t tell if it’s legit, overhyped, or just another trend.
Has anyone here actually tried it or looked into it properly? Any real experiences, side effects, benefits, or things to watch out for?

What the closest modern drug equivalent to methaqualone in terms of effects? I know that methaqualone is in its own seperate category from most other gaba drugs but is there anything out there today that can come close to replicating its effects?

I thought I have been taking gbl for 14 days but it turns out it has already been 17 days. As usually, I started searching for similiar threads here and got really scared when I saw some people commenting they experienced bad withdrawals only after 2 weeks. My mind is starting to panic really bad and I'm having a hard time quitting.
When I started the binge I was using around 21 ml/day and now it's around 24ml.
Do you think it could be dangerous to quit CT? I have diazepam and pregabalin and the plan was to take 300 mg of lyrica after the last dose when I finish work tommmorow, which gives me 24 hours to rest till next shift (I work as a waitress so timing to quit is almost never ideal) and then 10 mg diazepam as needed and continue to take 150 mg pregabalin and diazepam as needed till the worst is over.
My question is also? What happens if these meds are not gonna be good enough? Once I take the diazepam there's no going back to taking gbl anyway? Do I just hope for the best?
I hope this is coherent, I really feel out of it and thank you everyone in advance for reading!

Doesn't seem it would work well the way it seems to for benzos but thought I'd ask for experiences
r/gabagoodness • u/Cosmic-Bro • Apr 02 '23
The only one I've found that ACTUALLY works is Clonidine. The way it mildly relaxes my body reminds me of how benzos do. Hydroxyzine & Propranolol do nothing to me.
So what are your favorites, your friend's favorites, or promising safe-to-use-daily, non-abusable anti-anxiety meds that ACTUALLY work?
I'm interested in Buspirone & Trazodone. Since my anxiety responds exceedingly to sedation, I am inclined to think trazodone would be the best SSRI for me. And since I've read of SSRI's CRIPPLING withdrawals akin to benzos', I'll stick with a low dose.

I have been prescribed it to me for sleep after zolp failed to make me sleep even at 6 tablets. So ?
I just wanna know the experiences of people who have took it as well. Thanks

I'm planning on ordering it for christmas and wondering if anyone here tried it.
If so, how was it?
It's a really interesting substance. Doesn't develop any tolerance and apparently there aren't any withdrawal symptoms. It works on GABA but in a different manner than benzos. Flumazenil (it reverses benzo effecst) didn't stop kava from working, which means that there shouldn't be any cross tolerance.

Oi, you wild bunch. Got a question that's been bouncin' around my head. What's the best GABAergic drug for raves? I'm talkin' about somethin' that'll keep the vibes smooth, the anxiety at bay, and make those lights dance even brighter.
Not after any lightweight crap—need the real deal that'll keep me goin' all night without turnin' me into a zombie. What's the best for that perfect balance of chill and thrill? Spill the beans, and let's make this rave one for the bloody books. Cheers, and keep it loud.

Got my hands on 10 caps of fiorcet from a friend, white oblong capsule with "N26" on both sides, seemed legit from what I can tell as it's one of the only prescribed barbiturates still. Its 50mg barbitol/300mg APAP/40mg caffeine. I also made the genius decision of taking 2 benadryl before taking them as well.
Dosed 200mg barbital at 6pm, 4 caps. felt nothing for two hours so I decided to dose another 150mg at 7:45. Suddenly, at around 8pm, I was absolutely HAMMERED. Completely unable to walk, talk, or think anything coherent. I had read barbital took a max of 90 minutes to kick in even with food, this was a shock to me. I realized I was in for a mess since my first dose just kicked in and I had taken more nearly doubling it.
Past 8pm my memory is extremely choppy, besides getting up out of bed to go pee, immediately passing out from what felt like pots where I then started peeing through my pants all of the floor, and like a lot of pee because I was drinking lots of water the whole time 😭 I don't even remember peeing, only getting up to go pee. after that I remember falling asleep and waking up repeatedly in a different spot of my house, panicking when I woke up, and then falling asleep again shortly after In a new spot repeating the process. I did this until about 10-11pm until I stayed down for good. The experiencing of slowly falling asleep was very euphoric and opioid like but each time including the first time I woke up I was in extreme panic and anxiety for the entirety of the time until I passed out again, it was extremely dysphoric during that time and I assumed I overdosed. People said if you overdosed on barbiturates it's extremely dangerous because you feel no panic or anxiety, you just fall asleep and die. This was not my experience, I didn't even have severe respiratory depression but the sense of doom and dread overwhelmed me that I was going to die somehow and nothing seemed to make it better, the experience was only pleasant the first few hours but due to the ending made it all not worth it and much worse than other gabaergics I've tried. Thanks for reading about my stupidity, good day 👍

In your opinion, what GABA drugs are the most functional in terms of appearing sober, doing tasks, and overall looking functional?
For me the most functional GABA drug is Phenibut, Gabapentin, and lyrica.
Alcohol, soma, and benzos are pretty hard for me to act sober on.
What GABA drug/s do you feel like you can act perfectly sober on?
