How to clean the tiny holes of these open ear headphones?
With time they have gotten "filled" with skin cells, and ,I suppose, dirt. I'm doubting if a needle would only make matters worse. Any ideas?

Based on the title, I have been trying to change my toilet flapper but I cannot fit my hands once I remove the cover. Any ideas how to??

Someone accidently pushed the small pot past the handle bumps into the bigger one. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

I bought a chair for my garage work space when the Harbor Freight stool broke. But it's going to be dirty out here. In going to hit it with some stain guard to hopefully extend it's life, but before that id like to make it a different color. Maybe green racing stripes. Is there a spray-on or paint-on dye that would work for that?

So I got this on FB marketplace and the girl told me she just used “pins” to hang it up?? Not sure how cuz the back protrudes out so it doesn’t sit flat on the wall. Anyone know how I could hang this up in a renter friendly way?

Hey community !!
The inner plastic liner of my freezer cracked right along the rail where the drawer slides, exposing the foam insulation underneath.
Since this spot holds all the weight of the heavy drawer, regular silicone or tape won't hold up to the friction and pressure.
What cold-resistant material can I use to fill this so it cures rock-hard? Any food-safe epoxy putty or similar ideas?
Here is a photo of the other rail so you can see how it's supposed to look. At this point, I don't care about cosmetics as long as it gets fixed
Thanksss

I have a big pile of these triangular cup dollys that need new casters. The nut on top just spins with no way to hold the stem to unscrew. I destructively grabbed the bearing cup with vise grips and managed to remove the caster, but I can't do that to the new one if I want it to work. Are these made to be disposable? I was considering buying replacements with a longer stem and welding a small nu on the kingpin. Any other ideas?

Basically I have this dr pepper fridge and it suddenly started to make this noise. Idk if I need to clean something out but I've cleaned the fan today I cleaned any dirt I saw on the components and shit. If I can't fix it it's fine but if I can I wanna know now. I've taken out all the stuff I have in there and tried to turn it on again but it just keeps making that sound. It didn't sound like this before but now it does so I wanna know what I can do.

Received this as a gift when I worked w a film company for an event. It's a prop that they used on set but it has been filled w ice tea and the topper was super glued on. I've tried letting acetone sit on it but i haven't even been able to wiggle it around.
What other low cost methods could open this up for me?

The ac cooled air is causing condensation to form and leak onto the dry wall below it, causing damage. What can I do to remediate this before patching the dry wall?

I know I'm going to have to break this. Can someone tell me the safest way to break this without getting cut by glass?

I have these weird stains on my desk that I thought were just from the Styrofoam packing material but now I’m not so sure I’ve tried using a little bit of heat as well as Murphy’s wood soap, but nothing has worked

Hi, like the title says: how do I get my necklace out of the pedestal sink drain?
These two rods are joined by a screw and it got jammed so badly, that it won't open up

Bought this induction hob only about 6 months ago, clean it weekly just with all purpose spray week but this has still been building up. Ive only ever had gas cooker stoves before so this is a gray area to me.
Tried "hob cleaner", anti bac wipes, etc, leaving the spray etc on the hobs for 15/20 minutes before wiping away, but nothing seems to be shifting this build up.
UK based so that might affect specific products, but any recommendations on how to remove these marks would be appreciated!
Hello!! I need to save this patio floor. It has been deteriorating slowly. When it was first out it it was sealed and lasted about 4 years. After I used another sealer that was shit. I was too lazy to refinish it an now it is deteriorating away.
I tried to wash it dry it and refinish it but it didn't work. I have replaced some of the really bad ones but they are all deteriorating and the sealer may not adhere. Any ideas 💡?
I'm looking to make a part for a costume that will have wings that open up behind me. I don't want the wings to be attached to my arms and I'm not looking to have motors or anything like that either. The initial idea was to attach a hollow central post to a backpack/harness, run a rope through the post and out the bottom for me to pull the wings open. On each side of the post would be one of the wings, most likely in the style of folding a paper fan that can be opened from a closed position, up to 180 degrees (Straight upwards).
The original plan was to simply attach the end of the rope to the end of the tip of the wing, pull down and it'd open up, but physics doesn't really work that way and once it gets to about 90ish degrees, the downward force of pulling the rope doesn't translate to pulling it the rest of the way to be straight up.
Not sure what kind of gear, lever, pulley, or overall design would make the most sense to be able to make this happen, but I'm feeling somewhat stuck and I'm not sure how to translate that downward pulling force into the right kind of mechanism that will open the wing up.
Here's a quick sketch of the original mock-up that wasn't working correctly: https://imgur.com/a/0vaiMRm
Any ideas on what I could add/change to achieve this effect or if you could recommend things to research in terms of gears/levers, I'm happy to do that too, I just don't know where to start or what terms to be looking for.

I inherited this multitool from my grandpa and I used it for the first time today. The tools have notches in them that lock into this tab on the back. There are no buttons or levers that move that I can see. Ive messed with it a bit even tried a bit of force and cant find the relese latch. How the hell do I close this thing. The tab it locks into is solid and does not bend.

I'm trying to mount these faux boxwood panels to my ceiling. It's 160" x 115" or so, and I have 48" x 160" panels saved. I am prepared to cut them of course, but I want to know if I really need the metal frames. I'm following the tips proposed by a guide that had an open ceiling with the wooden beams exposed instead of a typical flat surface. So I just want to know if anything changes between that and a popcorn ceiling.
The metal frames are very expensive, so I'm hoping I can skip the middle man a bit and move forward without them.
Please let me know if the frames are needed, and any other useful tips you have.

The LCD screen on my Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 4G recently broke, and since the technician advised against repairing it (I didn't notice battery is also swollen, and in his opinion, the cost would exceed the phone's value), I wanted to know if there is at least a way to recover my data, even though the screen is stuck on a white display with a blue stripe down the middle?

My rubber bracelet broke years ago, and it just dawned on me that I could just sew it back together! And it worked really well!! :)
I've seen a bunch of people here ask about this, and couldn't reply because the comments didn't allow it; so I hope this helps someone.
Have a nice day everyone ^^
