Misc. After picking it up and putting it down many times over the years, I have finally beaten Super Mario World for the first time.
I’m still missing 16 exits, so I’ll have to do some backtracking. But man, do I feel accomplished

Pretty sure it’s the first game I ever played when I was like 4 and it’s a definite iconic classic. I recently just beat it for my 2nd time ever after not having played it since like 2010 or so, but my god can it be a frustrating game

Well done. The last handful of levels can be pretty frustrating, it's a big accomplishment even though the game isn't terribly hard.

It’s funny, I’ve gotten every achievement in several of the souls games so I’m no stranger to difficulty, but I’m historically bad at 2d platformers. So it definitely does feel like an accomplishment

Valley of Bowser 2 was a bit of a hair-puller when I was young. The game absolutely has its moments of difficulty. Wait till you play Valley Fortress, that stage is short but brutal.

Ive done some of them. I have 80 exits at the moment

Make sure to do all other exits before completing all Star Road exits. It makes for a much more satisfying finish. I did not do this and it was very anticlimactic when I finally found and competed my last exit somewhere random on the map

Full completion gets a 96 with a little star next to it. Just got the 96 last yr! Gotta do every exit- 2 per star road stage

I commend you, not so much for accomplishing something incredibly difficult, but for accomplishing something very worthwhile.

One of the best games of all time I think. I never played or knew Yoshis Island was a sequel, and I played 5 minutes of it and already hate it. You gonna play it next?
