What games am I missing…

I’m looking to round out my collection with only quality games. Not looking to be a completionist - just the good stuff. What should I prioritize?

Here are some ideas:

The three Parodius games that were Japan exclusive (the first one did get a PAL release) are very colorful and fun and essentially already in English apart from the voiceovers in the third one

Kirby’s Dream Course is very cute and a lot of fun two player

Harvest Moon and Tetris Attack are worth considering

Oh, Mega Man & Bass as well. Yeah there’s some dialogue you won’t get as it was Japan exclusive but it’s a Mega Man game it’s not that hard to keep up with

Honestly- great suggestions. Thank you. Kirby seems to be a glaring hole. And have heard great things about Tetris Attack.

The Japanese version of Tetris Attack is Panel De Pon. Different graphics and music. If you have a Switch and the Nintendo Online Expansion Pack, it's one of the games offered in the Super Nintendo section. I have a Retron 3 AV, so I'm looking for Panel De Pon for the Super Famicom to go with Tetris Attack.

Oh, how I wish that were alphabetized...

Numerous RPGs, Lufia 1&2, BoF2, Act Raiser 2, Brain Lord, Robotrek, Brandish, Soulblazer, Terranigma (japan only, but completes the trilogy, modern re-releases available. Same goes for Trials of Mana, and many others, like Romancing Saga)

Uncharted Waters and UW:New Horizons, Skuljaggers, Shadowrun, Blackthorne, Ghoul Patrol (sequel to ZAMN) The Twisted Tales of Spike McFang, (Imports:)Back to the Future 2, Front Mission and FM: Gun Hazard

They're only $5 games, but it just feels incomplete if SimCity and Populous aren't there

Top left where it says date added, just change to alphabetic.

Looking at my own collection, some games I think are either fun or great examples of their genre that aren't on your list: Firemen, Goof Troop, Jurassic Park, Legend of the Mystical Ninja, Lost Vikings, Parodius, Pop'n Twinbee, Rock n' Roll Racing, Run Saber, Sim City, Skyblazer, Super Bomberman (any of them).

If you want to go the Japanese route there's a whole bunch of stuff but some standouts to me: the 2 Front Mission games, Gundam Endless Duel and Macross.

There's so many games and different genres on the SNES that could be considered quality depending on your tastes it's a hard list to keep short!
