I think the guy genuinely has a problem without being rude, you can see the original post.

He replies to himself every time and genuinely there’s no purpose here to what he did.

He's also spamming thermal paste all around the plastic so the heat has nowhere to go, killing the system faster. So really, it looks like OP has absolutely no idea what he's doing, what thermal conductivity is, and the capabilities of the console since it can handle up to 105°C before shutting down. There could genuinely be a problem with his console playing FF7, but he probably voided his warranty and I'm honestly not sure if he caused the issues himself. The only explanation for shutdown could be high summer-like temperatures where the fans can't keep with the heat, as another Redditor commented in the original post.

OP commenting to his own post and responding to himself is... Yeah, a bit weird. No offense, OP.

Now it runs normal temps with the front plate off and I pasted the vrm and chips on the motherboard for the dock that probably helped too it dropped 20 to 30 degrees play for 2 hours and it's like 105 at the exhaust

They didn't have any pads or paste on anything but the 3 vrm and mosfet on the other side had 3 tiny thermal pads

You just arent being clear. When you say "my shit was on fire", it makes me think actual flames were coming out of your console.
