I already know about the UK Nintendo Store's plan to restock... eventually, but so far I've only seen it with the US branch plus with my luck, I might miss it anyway 😵‍💫🫩

Hi everyone, I’m sure as gamers we are all in the same boat especially on the S2, has so many great offers come into the E shop regular and there’s so many great games dropping each week it’s so hard to keep up!!!

Also, I will admit as soon as I see an update for a switch one classic which I’ve never owned get all refreshed and updated for the S2. I look for it on UK sites like Vinted and get some absolute bargains which I’ve done recently - donkey Kong tropical, Splatoon 3, Luigi mansion 3, the new Batman Lego, Super Mario Bros deluxe - all of those games I’ve paid £12-17 at the most apart from Batman Lego deluxe which was £29.

I think in my backlog, I have us around 45 games at the moment a mix of physical, digital & lots of Indie games in there too like Dave the diver, Hades etc
This isn’t including the GameCube releases etc!!!

Not sure how you are handle the buying and playing of games, but I will admit I do like it to complete the games before I move onto the next! But right now, I’ve started a few too many as I’m too excited to see all these games are!!! Crazy!!!

I’ve just finished the streets of rage 4, which was a good pick up and play game.

My new theories I must complete three or four games before I buy another!!!!! OOT is an exception to the rule!!!

Now I thought was a glitch but read on FB that Argos are crash clearing biggest stock to make way for new S2 stock….ie, Zelda etc

Has anyone got the switch 2 zelda anniversary console with the game as a bundle from any retailer. I have seen that very has it listed but was wondering of how legit it is, as every other place has it out of stock

Hi everyone, this is my first post on here and looking forward to being a Big user of this group.

So the question is here in the UK I’ve noticed Nintendo are selling the Zelda switch 2 for around £430 online but Amazon are selling it or pre-orders at £499.
I know that it’s only a recommended retail price, but I honestly thought Amazon would be more around the original price rather than price hiking to profit, I didn’t think this was in the business model to do this.

Do you think they will adjust the price as it’s only a pre-order and they’re using the 499 to put off the people looking to buy lots?
I personally think it’s wrong for them to do this, but then again it’s them making money I guess

That 40th anniversary Switch 2? Every time I check their page they are taking pre orders. I’ve been checking for over a day now and consistently they are just taking pre orders. Surely if Amazon and Nintendo Store reached their limit until the next stock refresh so would Argos?

Are they reliable or will they just send an email later cancelling the order and apologize for taking too many orders? Is there some catch?

If I ever preorder a game its usually about a week before release, this is the first time Ive tried to preorder as soon as humanly possible

I spent 6 hours refreshing the store page on Tuesday trying to get a preorder for the game when they opened, every other country had theirs open within an hour, then they did open the preorders at some point the next day while I was asleep, now Im stuck constantly trying to refresh the uk store trying my best to get the special cover despite knowing theyre possibly all sold out by now

Anyway thats my rant. I could try somewhere else but I really want the cover and Im unsure if that will be available anywhere other than the Nintendo store

There were pre-orders open at Argos and it was up for two hours , no queues for the website either .

Also , don't panic and head for scalpers . I think there will be plenty to go around by Christmas :)

Has anyone else noticed that Amazon UK often doesn’t seem to offer release-day delivery for video game pre-orders?

For example, I’ve pre-ordered The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, which releases on 5 November, but Amazon says “Arriving 7 November.”

Same thing with Metroid Revenous – Special Edition. It releases on 28 January, but my order says “Arriving 30 January.”

I know it’s only a couple of days, but I find it a bit strange for pre-orders. I’d have thought the whole point of pre-ordering a game months in advance was that it would be dispatched in time to arrive on release day.

Is this just how Amazon UK handles Nintendo/game pre-orders nowadays? Do the estimated dates sometimes change closer to release, or should I assume they genuinely won’t arrive until two days later?

... wasn't directed to paypal to confirm payment, haven't had confirmation email. The whole website has been falling over for the last 2 hours. Took many refreshes to get through the order process.

It did say order completed with an order number though.

Hey there, I've just started playing Zelda: Windwaker on the GameCube Virtual Console. However, when compared to modern games, particularly first-person shooters, the right stick seems laterally inverted and very counterintuitive. I’m wondering if there’s any way to reverse the left-to-right movement of the right stick on the Pro 2 controller?

Saw that people were sharing their switch 2 tech so thought I'd share these. Not sure what these controllers are called when it comes to the style of controller but I came across this Abxylute controller that's really good. Been waiting for a decent one since the switch 1 has been having it. It is basically a pro controller but in a more portable form factor. It also has programmable back buttons and the button, bumper, and trigger feel is hella satisfying. Those of you looking for a controller like this, this is the way to go for traveling. Sadly it doesn't work with a case so it can be cumbersome to keep swapping. I just use it for when I'm out for more than a few days!

My NNID was hacked and I can't access it anymore, I emailed NintendoUK 4 weeks ago and they still have not fixed my account.
Has anyone else had major issues with a hacked Nintendo Account?

I live in the UK and I want to buy a game for my partner, who is in the US. I would prefer to send a physical copy as they aren't region-locked, but their parents are on the strict side so I'd rather avoid getting them interrogated about how and where the game came from. I've had issues in the past of being unable to buy games for them due to using a UK address/account/bank on US sites/products.

If I buy a download code with a UK account and billing address, will they be able to redeem that?

If not, what other options do I have?
