Rode my bike to work today and got caught in the rain. My Zelda 3ds was in a mesh cash in my bag and somehow all the paint bubbled up on top 😭 it scraped right off. Thing was mint too smh

I grew up with Pokemon and Nintendo games. When I was little I had friend neighbor that owned SuperNES and he invited me to play the Sailor Moon game with him but his mom wasn’t allowed me to enter the house because I was poor. I asked my mom to get me one of the video games but we couldn’t afford to spend on things like that so when I got a job and my first salary I bought myself a DSLite, the 3DS in the photo is my last one in the DS collection (I think it’s the 8th one in the DS family). I’m still grateful to be on the Nintendo journey. Until my fingers can’t press any buttons.

I immediately put a screen protector on it and am getting a clear shell for it

I want to mod it. I haven’t owned a ds since my Dsi in like 4th grade. Anyone have any recommendations before I actually start looking for the software and my firmware on the Ds? I’ll be getting the files for it soon and don’t want to start anywhere that some experts might steer me away from

I recently took my 3DS out and I’ve been playing a few games on my 3DS and they all work great, and I went and put in Super Smash Brothers, and the system recognizes it, but when I go to actually play it, it says this game card cannot be read but also underneath the screen it says THERE IS AN UPDATE.

is there an issue with my game card itself or what do you guys think?

Got my latest addition to my collection today The N3DS HHD special edition! Regarding the face plates, I wanted to ask you all, if you have any tips or suggestions on where to get either relatively cheap original face plates or good after market ones? I really want to have some single-colored plates to swap so that I can decorate them myself without having to cover up the special edition ones, especially since it'd look way too busy! The ones I am interested in the most, would be the Red No.011, the ones that are such a bright red they look almost dark pink. Any recommendations on where I can get them for not more than about 25€/$30?

I remember seeing the og dsi display. Its stunning. So sharp. But its just so god damn small. I ended up with the dsixl and am really happy with it but the sharpness just isn't even close. Im really struggling now with that choice between the n3ds-s. I really wish there was an XL with higher resolution. It would be the perfect n3ds. I really want the massive n3ds screen but i also really like the sharpness of the smaller one.... i know this question has been asked a ton but what is your experience with them. Purely from a display quality perspective. Its just such a hard damn choice...

Hey all, just wondering if anyone has experienced this issue and knows what to do? My 3DS was sitting in its carrying case mostly untouched for years. Last time I noticed something like this, I cleaned it with isopropyl alcohol. But this time, it's like 10x worse and all over both pieces of the case.

I tried putting the case in the freezer but nothing changed. I'm trying UV treatment in direct sunlight tomorrow.

In your opinion what do you think is better the New 3DS XL gaming console or the PC emulation AYN Thor? I still prefer the original but lots of people say the AYN Thor is better than the original New 3DS XL gaming console

For context I take extremely good care of it I’ve had it for about a year now and the 3d slider has never had an issue I haven’t drop it or caused damage in any way to it but my slider for 3d just doesn’t work anymore. I used Rehid to be able to adjust my 3d with select + L or R and the 3d still works just fine, the ribbon cable for the volume/3d slider looks fine and the volume side still works. Any idea what could be wrong and how I could fix it? Or if it’s even fixable? It’s not the end of the world as I can still adjust it other ways just slightly annoying

I had the new 3ds xl when it came out but eventually I sold it to a buddy which I regret. Now I ended up getting one online and turns out it was modded. I guess that's a win 😁. I just need to learn how to mess with the apps. What grips do you guys recommend?

Hi 3ds community, I've been lurking here to see all of your collections. I have my old new 3ds XL but since I last used it, it's circle pad dry rotted/disintegrated. Even though I purchased an ayn th*r (I know how y'all feel about that piece of tech around here lol) I would love to bring my 3ds back to life for fun. While I'm at it, I might as well reshell it (it's the regular black version with a green zelda shell). If you have any recommendations for replacement parts, please send them my way!

I know they're not real dw, this was a design on a Japan exclusive DSI XL as far as I'm aware but I saw this on eBay and was wondering if anyone has taken a chance on it! :)
