Gabapentin Questions about gabapentin physical addiction NSFW

How long does it take to become physically addicted?

if you take it every day, every 2 days or every 3 days? Will you notice weaker effects before the addiction starts?

the withdrawal never gets anything like acutely coming off benzos or opiates

How much are you taking daily? I take between 100-300mg, and I don’t feel any physical addiction symptoms or withdrawal on days that I don’t take it.

100-300 mg it's a low dose. I wont even classify it as recreational. Do you use it therapeutically?

I meannnnnn, I’m prescribed for therapeutic reasons but if I’m taking more than 100mg it’s for recreational reasons. I try to keep tolerance low so recreational can still be recreational and not an addiction.

Only sharing my experience because OP didn’t specify anything ab their dose, and I do see questions on here asking if a daily low dose causes addiction. If OP is taking a higher dose daily tho, that’s a different story.

Ah. I wasn't intending on misdiagnossing your case or something like that. Sorry if i offended you. I have a big tolerance because I always take more than 1050 mg. And also have a mild addiction on lyrica. I was just trying to figure out your case

300mg isn’t even close enough to a recreational dose

that's dose dependent. but yes if you're getting recreational effects those will be the first to disappear as your tolerance increases, even if you aren't necessarily addicted and can stop without issue
