Discussion Felt like replaying a classic.

I personally prefer 2, but it’s been a while since I replayed the original. It’s got that rich Capcom pixel art and an awesome soundtrack.

I wish they’d revive the series, and I don’t mean the travesty that was BoF6.

I never played this game, but I'm just commenting to say I'm jealous of your CRT! I live in an apartment with a wife, two kids, and a cat, and I just don't have room for a CRT even if I could find one. Maybe someday...

This Toshiba is amazing. Model is a CZ36V51, and that’s with zero calibration. One day I need to get it professionally calibrated and reconverged.

I never played the first one but I played the 2 for the first time ever a few years ago on the NSO. Absolutely loved it. One of my favorites of all time.

Nice! I've been playing/replaying the whole series myself, currently towards the end of 3. The first game is kind of rough compared to the others but boy does it lay the foundation for the greats that come after it.

Had a craving and started playing this on stream a few weeks ago, not sure if I ever finished it originally as I've started to do content I do not remember doing before. It doesn't bother me but the encounter rate is insane at points through the game; it feels like they really want you to use the items to lessen encounters.

I think I prefer the characters in BOF2 though.

I only played a bit of BOF3 and none of the rest of them.
