I bought an MVS version of MoTW, and when I boot it up on my Neo Geo, I get some strange glitches. For example, Terry's stage isn't rendering properly. Some sprites are blacked out or just completely black.

I'm also having some issues with the battle system, like not being able to do feint cancels with some characters.

I think I might have been scammed, because the case isn't the case of MoTW but more like a case from KOF2002, it looks too pristine even the sticker with the game on it, but when I look at the PCBs and the soldering, it looks like an industrial-level job.

I looked for it on MVS Scans but couldn't find anything.

Could it be a reprogrammable game?

It is in really good condition so I’d like to verify also I do not currently have a screwdriver to open it and check the board

I hope this is enough information to verify these games. From what I've read about how to parse out fakes, I think that Soul Silver is real, but Platinum is concerning to me. I'd love to get a second opinion before taking these "under my wing". These should be from close to the original release dates.

I should also be getting footage of both games booting on a DS or 3DS unit sometime later today. I'll reply with the footage to anyone who thinks that's necessary for verification when I receive it.
