Question Is there such thing as a "coin't" in the series?
By a coin't I mean an item that when collected, it actually decreases the amount you have, like a ztar. I'm not limited to coins, I just used that example (obviously aside from ztars)

Discussion I’m unsure if I’m alone on this one, but it would be nice if we got a Mario and Donkey Kong game that isn’t them being in conflict but working together in an rpg or platforming style setting.
At this point, Mario and Donkey Kong are likely good acquaintances with one another. I doubt they should be despising each other anymore, leaving everything in the past and putting their differences aside to face a bigger/badder threat. An accurate title for this potential video game series would be (Mario and Donkey Kong) it’s very similar to Mario vs Donkey Kong but it’s placed intentionally similar to show that they aren’t out for each other’s throats any longer.

Discussion While I personally wouldn't mind if the rpg originals were reused I also think there are some underused mainline characters that deserve to be brought back and utilized more.
I decided to make this post after watching Reecee's video. Yeah I know it was a while ago but I just wanted to add my thoughts on this topic.
While I do agree mainline Mario content could use more non Bowser related villains I don't think reusing Mario and Luigi villains or introducing mew villains in the mainline games is the right call when King Bomb-omb and King boo exist and as wonder showed us you don't have to use Luigi's mansion King boo to have him be evil. Both of the kings are characters Nintendo has intrest in using and fit the mainline games way more. Now I'm not saying they should be main villains but more so secondary villains that appear in a few encounters like how King Boo was utilized in Wonder.
And when it comes to non villain characters there are some fun characters that haven't gotten much use. Like Birdo, she has been around since Mario 2 USA and is used as Yoshi's counter part in MK and sports games yet she never played a major role or gets used as a character at all and it is not she doesn't have potential. Also Plessie and the odyssey npcs in general are fun characters that haven not been used much outside of there appearances. Besides the new donkers I don't see why not, like Plessie could be used in Mario party mini games and the Tostarenans would be good additions to a mario kart game.
The rpg original characters are cool but they were designed for there respective games in mind hence why nintendo doesn't want to reuse them and that is ok, also not to mention paper mario is a seperate universe. That is why I would much rather have the pre mentioned characters get more attention, they have a way bigger bigger chance, fit the mainline games more and have some potential.

Discussion Do you like story mode in recent Mario sport games?
In earlier time, story mode seemed to be handheld's feature due to its raising system. But now since Switch era we've seen a couple of games that dedicates to story mode for both tutorials and unlockables. But I wonder, do fans find Mario sport stories enjoyable?
I think Mario sport stories' biggest challenge is they haven't really standed out as popular as other Mario stories from mainline or RPGs. Mario RPGs have richest story, while Mario platformer set the foundation of the franchise, which leave Mario sport stories to be the weakest link of all. Mario sport games just don't tend to have ambitious story subthemes like "Mario Golf : The Millennium Window". Tennis Aces seemed to have the ambition to write an epic story, but it didn't succeed simply due to the obviously low investment.
It's understandable that Mario sport games want to focus on the main gameplay and story is mere extra, but it could be more interesting if sport stories also get more development in order to be more unique and memorable so fans would not try to skip them.
I know the professional athletes from earlier games are not fans' cup of tea as they don't seem as interesting as the fantasy world characters, but their biggest merit is how they bring original contents to expand the games. Meanwhile recent Mario sport stories don't have the same investment to introduce new original contents in the same way Mario RPGs tend to do.
In fact, we've got a couple of original boss OCs like Snow King and King Scuttlebug, and it could had been better if the whole stories and themes totally dedicate to the OCs, and actually make OCs unlockable players as our prize for completing story mode. Could also work in the same way if they get to introduce notable villains like King K Rool or Captain Syrup, and use them as the main villains for a sport story.

Discussion Does Super Mario 3D World still hold up 13 years later?
I find it hard to believe Bowser's Fury is half a decade old since we waited so long for 3D World to come to the Switch.
