I had the new 3ds xl when it came out but eventually I sold it to a buddy which I regret. Now I ended up getting one online and turns out it was modded. I guess that's a win 😁. I just need to learn how to mess with the apps. What grips do you guys recommend?

Hi 3ds community, I've been lurking here to see all of your collections. I have my old new 3ds XL but since I last used it, it's circle pad dry rotted/disintegrated. Even though I purchased an ayn th*r (I know how y'all feel about that piece of tech around here lol) I would love to bring my 3ds back to life for fun. While I'm at it, I might as well reshell it (it's the regular black version with a green zelda shell). If you have any recommendations for replacement parts, please send them my way!

Ever since I got my N3DSXL I have stop playing in my blue 3DSXL. I barely play on my 2DS but I will keep it because I like the design.

Recently bought a New 3DS off eBay, specifically the Black Friday limited edition Mario one. Its in basically perfect condition however I was so blown away by the physical condition that my eyes completely glossed over the pictures.
Fast forward to yesterday, I got it, and turned it on only for the bottom screen to be weirdly bright?? Even when fully black, it ends up being more of a bright grey. I also noticed that it was getting Ui elements burnt into it really easily. I thought it might be a burn in problem so I ran SPF (Stuck Pixel Filter) on it for about an hour and it was gone!
I thought I had gotten rid of it, however once closing the lid and turning it back on again the brightness came back.
Redditors with more hardware knowledge than me please help me out here 😅🙏

I bought a New 3DS XL today. The console looks almost like new, but on closer inspection I noticed some damage to the charging port (see picture). It charges perfectly fine, even when I move the cable around. Is this something I should be concerned about?

Ere these dead pixels or the ones that just spread like a virus? I've had this 3Ds for 4 months now and it didn't have any dead pixels yesterday but it does today?

I can only find a n3dsxl with dual ips. I would really rather the high PPI of the n3ds but none of the listings say ips, so they're more than likely not. What do you thinks more worth it? Is dual ips more important than pixel density?

I recently modded my old 2DS XL from when I was a kid, and while I took very good care of it, there is some minor scratching on the outside case, I can't tell if its an actual scratch on the shell or the paint. Anything that can be done about this?
